2015: A Year of Change
2015 for me has been a year of changes, I switched from smoking cigarettes to an electronic cigarette, which I could not be more happier with, smoking an electronic cigarette is most certainly cheaper than tobacco products.
I moved from my hometown of Sheffield back to Hull, reconnected with friends, although I loved my time in Sheffield and Chesterfield, previously for 8 years I had made Hull my home.
I met a very special lady in Agnieszka who has introduced me to Polish customs and culture, plus she is an incredibly good cook and baker. I've not met too many people in this world who cook from scratch, in November on my birthday for the first time in a long time I had a birthday cake which was yummy, Agnieszka had ordered it from another Polish lady. I feel very lucky to have someone who is understanding and caring after previous experiences.
I've also started eating more vegetables, opening up about my feelings and as it's Christmas Eve, it feels special and something to remember.
Merry Christmas to all those out there and Best Wishes for 2016!

Grief! Do I Hate Windows 8
I couldn't hate Windows 8 quite possibly as I do today, I don't know what Microsoft were thinking when it came to the Windows 8 Operating System.
My previous laptop an Acer Laptop was easy to use with Windows Vista, could easily dual boot Ubuntu or any Linux Distro alongside Windows, with Windows 8 its more complicated and drawn out and doesn't help that I bought a crappy Chinese Lenovo Laptop, which for a few years has been ok, despite I cannot access the Bios menu.
I like to use both Windows and Linux, Linux for productivity and Windows mainly for gaming. To solve my problem all I need to do is access the bios menu by pressing F2, simple enough right?
Not so simple and all my problems have been caused by Secure Boot, when I installed Ubuntu as a dual boot, I could not access the Bios menu to turn off secure boot and thus once Ubuntu had installed it became the primary Operating System stopping me from booting Windows 8, now all I have is a laptop with a message that says "Access Denied"

Finding A Usable Client With Windows Phone
I've had my windows phone for a little over 3 months, its crashed so many times I cannot even count due to the phone having problems with my SD Card.
The main problem I've found is the Windows store is so sparse, you would think for a company that has an impressive market share of the OS marketplace, they would have more developers working on great apps for the device, alas there isn't.
The Facebook app is just about usable, but forget doing anything with pages, your better off on Android or iOS.
The question that I keep asking myself is why did I leave iOS, the only reason I can think of is because my iPhone was just to darn small for me to do anything productive on it, plus I don't like the hefty price tags for a fashion accessory.
How I miss my Galaxy Note, the first phone I could truly be productive on.
