Last year I wrote a blog post that was filled with happiness and hope, I thought the happiness was real until a few months on and that happiness changed and changed me.
So this year's blog post is filled with happiness, I had a good Christmas and New Year, it was peaceful and calm.
Compared to last year with a woman who was definitely not of good nature. I think what changed my start to 2016, simply was the relationship I was in, I was with a woman that no one liked, no one wanted to know and she was a habitual nag, nagging for this that and the other, her whole view of a relationship was in material goods, if you said anything bad against Europe it was met with disdain.
Then the Summer came along, I was rid of the awful Polish woman, I started volunteering and finding myself again, I had built my reputation on taking all political and economic issues that had fallen by the way side.
Whilst volunteering I met Sharon who is a bit older than me, which is nice, she is down to earth and understanding and we hit it off, that cannot be said to one person who took offence to our relationship, insinuating that Sharon was a scarlet lady, I think that title goes to the Polish woman and her goings on with her boss.
2016 wasn't the best year, but 2017 looks promising, City of Culture here in Hull and the mental scars have almost gone from the hands of a vile woman who really should have been deported from the UK.
