I Don't Play The Lottery, So Why Would I Want To Play The Dating Lottery?

The lottery, we've all played one at some point in our lives, right?

I've played the lottery here in the UK a couple of times, didn't really do anything for me and i lost interest, i find the same with the lottery that is dating, especially dating sites. Investing my money in a upgraded membership for no benefit is not my idea of a good investment, but many men and women do invest their money in looking for that someone special.

Just like a lottery the dating lottery is stacked against you from the start, you might get a couple of wins every now and then, but the odds are still stacked against you and that is because there is more men than women who are members of the dating sites.

So when your message has gone unanswered, it's usually because that particular female has been flooded with messages.

Dating sites might take your money and a lot of them are making some serious money, enough to advertise on the TV, Radio and Internet regularly.

What a dating site doesn't tell you is simple, you've got more chance of finding someone on Facebook than you have on an actual dating site.

Facebook connects people, you're not investing anything because Facebook is free, they do show ads on their site to monetize, but the people who are connecting with you are actually interested in you, so your odds of finding that special someone are somewhat shortened, at least the first thing is they've added you to their circle of friends which is a sign of interest.

Or in my case, some ladies who i know, won't add me to their Facebook but rather would stalk the hell out of my Facebook page, there's a different story behind female behavior and Facebook stalking.

Your risk of investing in Facebook is minimal and exposes you to smaller risk, than an actual dating site.

To sum up the whole dating site lottery, don't let your hard earned money cost you more than the benefit you will get out of it.
